Evacuation Thank-you!

The RM of Usborne/Organized Hamlet of Guernsey Council, Hamlet Board & Administration would like to extend a sincere thank you to the Town of Lanigan council, staff and volunteers for all their hard work and efforts during the recent train derailment & evacuation of the Hamlet of Guernsey. Your generosity was very much appreciated – from housing our temporary RM office within your town office, to setting up the evacuation center & cooking meals for the evacuees, to assisting evacuees and RM & CP personnel where necessary – your compassion during a challenging time did not go unnoticed.
